Easter 2011

So this was the first official Easter the kids have had with daddy actually on Easter, instead of celebrating it when he got back from where ever he was at the time! And thank God because walking around in our Easter sunday Best clothes during June is quite odd! hahahha

We had a wonderful time, a yummy breakfast out at a german restauraunt, saw the Easter bunny, colored eggs together, read a story about the true meaning of easter, then hid and found the eggs in the back yard, Sat out side and played, because the weather was beautiful and then made some funky burritos of left over things we had in the house! We didnt really feel like spending our day cooking a traditional dinner, we were enjoying eachother to much outside to come in and cook!!

On a happier side

Okay so I just wanted to post some cute pictures after my ugly rash pictures, especially since when I went grocery shopping today people stared at me like I had a disease on my face!!! hahahaha sure wish we would of had food in the house so I wouldn't of had to go out in public! :)

Opps I ate Gluten:(

It use to be just horrible stomach pains and all sorts of other digestive problems, but the older I get the worse the symptoms have become when I eat gluten. I completely went gluten free after I started losing hair and weight to where people were asking my mom if I was okay when they would see me. I was somewhat gluten free before then because my son cant eat gluten. But every now and then I let the temptation of peanut butter bars and Starbucks scones get the best of me! you would think I would learn my lesson? This week it was peanut butter bars and this was my result!!! I should have know after the first one when my mouth was burning to not eat another one, but damn! they were soooo good! This is by far the worst this rash has ever been!!!!

Little Feet

This is a picture that Corey took of the kids feet shortly after Cody was born. I thought it would be the perfect picture for this story!

When Cody wants me to pick him up and hold him he calls it "uppies", well this weekend Riley was at our good friends and neighbors house for a sleep over and Corey is out of town, so it was a perfect night for me and Cody time! As we were laying up stairs watching the baseball movie he picked out, I cuddled him and said "no matter how big you get, you'll always be my baby boy" and then he looked up at me with his cute little eyes and said "mama, no matter how big I get will you always give me uppies!" I just held him tighter as my heart was melting and said "of course honey!"

Awww Cabo and Ten years!

Even though we are a couple months from our 11Th anniversary, I find myself reliving our trip to Cabo for 10years!! The warmth, the relaxation and the love!!! I am truly so happy you are my husband, we are a perfect mix for each other! You tone me down and keep me grounded, which is completely what I need!! And I make you go outside of your comfort zone, which is exactly what you need! The quiet reasonable guy fell in love with the spontaneous, impulsive girl! A perfect match!

Cody at Three

Where does the time go? I cannot believe my little baby boy is going to be four this summer! It is so bitter sweet, because he is my last, my baby, and he is growing up way to fast for me, but at the same time I love who he is growing up to be, such a great mix of sweetness and toughness! His heart is so kind, he always says he loves his family and loves his sister. Every night at dinner we do what is called high/low, every one gets a turn of saying what their high (happy thing) was for the day and what their low (sad thing) was for the day, it is sooo cute because every night Cody's happy thing is the same "that we are all eating dinner together as a family" and it is all him, not once did any of us ever tell him to say that or said it before, it literally comes from his heart! On the other note he loves playing army guys, he however calls it "bad guys" he gets all dressed up in things that does not even come close to relating to army stuff, but in his mind it does, The shower cap is his bad guy hat, he has this brown coat that is his bad guy coat and black snake skin cowboy boats are his bad guy shoes! haha His smile is my favorite thing other than his heart, It is the cutest little smile that brings such joy to my soul! A funny story about Cody is one time in the summer my mom was up visiting and Cody was learning to potty train, it was hot we were all out side in the back yard playing in the little kid pool and jumping on the trampoline. when ever Cody had to pee I would just let him go pee on the tree or somewhere outside. Riley then for some reason thought it was cool that Cody could pee outside and asked if she could, haha I didn't care it was just me and my mom and we have a privacy fence so I said go ahead I don't care, plus she was all wet from the pool and I didn't want them going in and out of the house anyways. so she just pulled her swim suit to the side and peed and Cody walked over with this look of amazement and confusion on his face and he walked all around Riley and looked up at her and said "but sissy how? you don't got one?" ahahahaha I am sure you can assume what he was talking about sissy not having one!
